Amapiano can be roughly divided into two sub cultures, the Hard hitting Piano sound for which Vigro Deep is very popular, and the Soulful Island piano sounds popularly called Private School Amapiano. It's not very often that we see producers in these two cultures coming together to make music but that's all about to change. In a recent post on his Facebook page, BlaqBoy Musiq label head, Dj Maphorisa (also 1/2 of the Scorpion Kings duo) hinted on a possible joint project between Mas MusiQ and Vigro Deep.

Mas Musiq who rose to star status last year with his own brand of Soulful music favors the Private School type Amapiano sound while Vigro Deep is undoubtedly the king of break beat hard hitting bass amapiano. It would be interesting to see what the two youngsters can come up with when given studio tie together.
