Amapiano star vocalist, Swartspeare is dead. The vocalist who is known for his “Gugu” hit single with The Lowkeys & Shizo has died. The cause of death at this time is still unknown.

One of our budding talents, Swartspeare has been snatched away by the cold hands of death. The details and cause of death of Swartspeare are still clouded in obscurity but information reaching us is that the singer passed away on August 3.

Before his death, Swartspeare was very actively involved in the Amapiano scene and was behind some of our most beautiful hits such as Gugu with Shizo and The Lowkeys.

His most recent performance was on July 30 at the "Bicycle Serobege Reloaded" tour.

The Swartspeare Death is not the only death that the industry has suffered in recent times. Last month we lost Guyu Pane to a gruesome multiple homicide and this comes at almost a year after the death of the Piano Five; Mpura, Killer Kau, TD, Thando and The Voice who passed away last year August.
