Black Coffee didn’t give me R500k – Dr Malinga silences rumors

Following the outcry of the piano superstar, Dr. Malinga about being broke after SARS dealt with him. He has today dismissed the rumors of receiving R500 000 from Black Coffee.

The singer has appreciated the people who came through for him over the weekend. The Grammy-winning musician was among the people Malinga mentioned in his tweets.

A social media user whose handle was not mentioned has however spread rumors that the DJ gifted Dr Malinga R500k.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, the singer dismissed the rumors, urging people to stop misleading others with the wrong information.

“Hi guys @RealBlackCoffee didn’t give 500k let’s not mislead people thanks bye,” he tweeted, though he didn’t reveal the help received from Black Coffee.

Meanwhile, Sol Phenduka who is a co-host on the Mac G’s Podcast and Chill, where Dr Malinga opened up about his problem also said that the 500k rumor is false.
