We have a new song from DJ Obza which is titled "Yhe Baba" featuring Blour. This one comes barely one week after DJ Obza released his joint album with Bongo Beats, Memeza.
DJ Obza is one of the progenitors of the Amapiano genre, being among the first producers to jump on the new sound and take it to where it currently is. Although he may be well underrated, it does not take anything away from the talent that this young man has. His unique style that has been branded as Gospel Piano by many is one that is unique to him. DJ Obza gained widespread popularity when he linked up with Gem Valley Musiq for the viral hit "Prayer." The emotional single would inspired a couple of more releases from the producer.
It was not until 2020 when Obza released his debut album that he really showcased his talent to the world. Two of the album's songs, Idlozi Lami and Mangdakiwe became the biggest songs last year. This year, DJ Obza made even more huge steps, collaborating with Bongo Beats and Makhadzi for the remix of his 2020 hit, Mangdakiwe. The former will then join Obza for a joint album, Memeza released in June.
