Heavy K is normally referred to as the Drum Boss of South African House Music. Very revered in many circles, Heavy K has been dominating the scene for a very long time now. In recent times we have seen the producer/dj start making Amapiano songs and although it's coming a few years late his songs have been quite enjoyable. Last week, Heavy K introduced Ngisho to the world and today he doubles down with another release, Monarch.
The new song is a near perfect blend of Amapiano and South African House Music. If you listen carefully elements of both genres are used in near perfect synergy to create a unique sound that's for now exclusive to the Drum Boss.
With the close proximity of these releases, it might appear that Heavy K is prepping for a new album which will have Amapiano influences.
