Kelly Khumalo shot Senzo Meyiwa: Eyewitness to testify

Kelly Khumalo, whose full name is Kelly Nonhlanhla Khumalo is a South African singer, actress and dancer. Born and raised in Nquthu, KwaZulu-Natal, she was discovered while performing at gospel talent search and signed a record deal with Bomsai Entertainment, released her debut studio album T.K.O.

She has released so many studio albums like Itshitshi, Siyajabula, Simple Kelly, Back to my Root and many others. She also appeared in many movies like Zulu Wedding, uSkroef, Life with Kelly Khumalo, Stand Up South Africa where she served as a judge and others. She has also won the SAMA Award in 2013 for Best Female Artiste.

On Wednesday, 1st June 2022, Kelly Khumalo broken the silence on Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trail. She made the statement below:

"I know that there is a cancel community - you cannot cancel what you have created. When I am needed, and when the time is right, the world will hear my voice. They will hear hear my voice when they feel they should."

An eyewitness will reportedly testify that Kelly Khumalo shot Senzo Meyiwa to dead by mistake. Yesterday, Wednesday, 1st of June, defense lawyer Advocate Malesela Teffo confirmed to Pretoria High Court that a witness who hasn’t been called in the trial is set to testify.

Late Senzo Meyiwa, the Bafana Bafana’s goalkeeper was shot and killed at Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus in October 2014, and the singer has been fingered severally by people who think she’s a suspect.

Reports gathered from City Press, Teffo, who is representing the five men standing trial for Meyiwa’s murder, said the witness would also reveal that the gun used belonged to Longwe Twala, the son of a top music producer Sello “Chicco” Twala.
