Open Mic Productions Releases Payment Receipt of R8M Sent To Makhadzi
The tussle between Makhadzi and Open Mic Productions is far from over. After Makhadzi’s claim that she wasn’t paid a dime for her album and single sales, Open Mic Productions has released proof of payment of money sent to Makhadzi. Totalling R8, the documents released by Open Mic Productions shows Makhadzi was indeed paid certain amounts of money over the last three years with the last being R247K on 4 May 2023 and R100k on 1 April, although the receipt didn’t state what the payment was for.
In response to Makhadzi’s alleged false accusations, Open Mic Productions has issued a legal document demanding an apology for defamation before May 12, 2023. As of now, Makhadzi has not responded to any of the claims made by Open Mic Productions.
