Phumelela comes off the brand new Ep that was released by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small on 4th April 2020. The project tagged, Once Upon A Time In Lockdown: Scorpion Kings Live Mix 2 featured a total of 15 new songs inspired partly by the current Covid-19 outbreak.

The partnership between DJ Maphorisa has been wonderful ever since they first debuted their Scorpion Kings Joint project back in early 2019. Just then fans began to get a taste of hat both men can do with a piano. Together, Maphorisa and Kabza De Small have dominated the Amapiano industry.
