Despite being just 19 years, Vigro Deep has made a name for himself in the industry. He is one of the youngest DJs in South Africa but also one of the most popular and sought after.
Background
Originally from Atteridgeville in Pretoria, Vigro Deep fell in love with music at a very young age. His music background can be traced back to the fact that his father, Victor “DJ Spring” Ngcongwana, one-half of the seminal Godfathers of House duo.
Vigro Deep dropped out of high school after the 10th grade to focus on his music career. A decision that would see him propel himself into the top of the industry.
Milestones
Vigro Deep got his big break with Untold Story. The project simply became one of the most played body of work in the country. Untold Story broke the Atteridgeville Pitori producer and onto the map nationally and Baby Boy propelled him beyond the boundaries of Pitori. Less than two weeks after releasing his "Baby Boy III" album, Vigro Deep toured the project in the UK, testing the sound on international audiences which received it well.
Vigro Deep continued his dominating form into 2020 as he dropped off Rise of A Baby Boy. The album would see him stand on podium side with other top producers like Kabza De Small and Dj Maphorisa.
Vigro Deep plies his trade as an independent artist. A decision he made so that he can have complete freedom over his sound. He is considered one of the best in the industry.
