Jazziq DG and Shakes Avenue Call Out Dj Jaivane, He Isn’t A Good Person They Say.

We all remember when J&S Projects were formed, and with their viral hits like Shaka Zulu they stood out among many of the young producers even in Simnandi Roaster. Their membership in the label was short-lived as less than 2 years later the group left the record label and decided to call it quits with Dj Jaivane and his crew.

In recent news, Dj Jaivane posted a picture of his expensive Sneakers collection which got the attention of some fans.

A Twitter user then reacted by posting a Tweet about Dj Jaivane having an expensive collection of sneakers meanwhile Simnandi producers could not afford to buy a single pair.

Reacting to the above Tweet, J&S Projects commented saying " That guy is really not a good person. Haven’t received any royalties from any of the music that is out on DSP’s. Reported our debut album claiming the music belongs to him they took it down. He can't even press a keyboard that time. "

The reaction from the duo is not surprising as they are not the first artists from Simnandi who have come out to accuse the label boss of being partial and exploitative.

The first was Record L Jone who has since ironed things out with Dj Jaivane and apologized for his negative comments.

Thuske SA who was also 1/3 of the ATK MusiQ trio also called out the label boss when he left the record label.

In a space of 24 months, Simnandi has seen more than a couple of its very young talents leave the label to pursue a career on their own. We cannot say categorically that this is due to negligence or greed from Dj Jaivane.

It is widely known that Dj Jaivane through his record label has nurtured many great talents and many young producers owe their success to him. He is one of the founding fathers of Amapiano, but there is much to be said about how he handles the careers of some of these young producers.

There is however that popular saying that there is no smoke without fire...
